The Future of Fashion
An engaging and interactive 45 minute presentation on the obstacles facing the fashion industry in shifting towards sustainable solutions. In addition, we provide some examples of current innovations on the part of governments, brands, and consumers that showcase possible steps in the right direction. We also include a takeaway activity to promote further reflection on the way we consume and interact with fashion!

What's in Our Clothing?
This materials-focused workshop is the first workshop of our bundle series, where we go through examples of the most common fibres and materials that make up our clothing to have a better understanding of their social and environmental impact.
We will also elaborate on the pros and cons of organic, recycled, and innovative materials to help us make informed choices about what kinds of materials we want to wear.

Who Makes Our Clothes?
The fashion industry employs millions of people from around the world, from cotton farmer to garment worker. With the outsourcing of production, we are often left very disconnected from the hands that make our clothes. Who are these people and what are their realities?
The second workshop in the series sheds light on the current social disparities within the industry, the conditions that led us here, and important changes on the part of governments and brands to address these issues. Book on it’s own, or as part of the bundle. -

Clothing Waste
An estimated 92 million tons of textile waste is created annually by the fashion industry, and we are buying more clothes than ever before. This unprecedented amount of waste bears the question - what actually happens to our clothing when we are done wearing it, and how does this impact our environment?
The final workshop of the series goes deeper into clothing and textile disposal. We examine a few case studies of the impacts of waste and discuss the best way we can extend the life of the clothing we wear.
